Hi, I’m Joel Harrison.
My Therapeutic Orientation:
I’m a therapist who believes deeply in the healing power of presence, curiosity, and genuine connection. My approach is integrative, drawing from Gestalt, existential, and psychodynamic traditions, as well as evidence-based methods like DBT and CBT. This means our work can move gently between exploring your deeper emotional world, understanding patterns that no longer serve you, and developing practical skills that support meaningful change.
In my practice, I offer a warm and grounded space where you can slow down, notice what’s happening within you, and make room for new possibilities. I pay close attention to how your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and lived experiences shape the way you move through the world. Together, we’ll explore not just what you’re struggling with, but how you relate to yourself and others—and what might open up when those patterns begin to shift.
Whether you’re navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, identity questions, or simply wanting a deeper understanding of yourself, I’m here to walk alongside you with compassion, honesty, and respect. My goal is to help you build greater awareness, connect with your inner strength, and create a more authentic and meaningful life.
